Happy Birthday Flowers!

Hey guys, today I wanted to share with you this birthday card I made. Its the perfect card to give to you mom, aunt and even best friend. I hope you like it!

To create the various flowers and leaves, I used a mixture of stamps from the Autumn Leaves "Flowers" and the Inkadinkado "Nature" clear stamp sets. After I stamp and fussy cut out all the flowers and leaves, I arranged them how I would like them to be placed. I glued them onto some Neenah "Desert Storm" cardstock that I used for the card base and stamped the happy birthday from the Bo Bunny "Sentiments" stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish up the card, I added a few silver sequins and some random dots using a white gel pen. And the card is done! Graduation Card!

Hey guys, here's a graduation card I made for by best friend who just graduated from law school. 

On the white card base, I stamped the diagonal stripes from the Bo Bunny To the Point stamp set with the ColorBox Turquoise pigment ink. Using the Memento Dandelion ink, I added a couple different stars from the TPC Studio Transportation stamp set. 

For the centre panel, I smooched some blue and green food coloring on a white piece of cardstock and trimmed it out. I cut of a black diamond from a piece of black cardstock and created a yellow tassel using some embroidery thread. For some added dimension, I popped up the graduation cap and a yellow star on the card using 3M double sided foam tape.

The sentiments on the card were the 'Congratulations' stamp from the KI Memories Greetings stamp set and the Inkadinkado Somerset Alphabet stamp set. I stamped both using the Inkadinkado Black dye ink.

Father's Day Card!

Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you the father's day card I made for my dad last month. I was inspired by pictures I saw on pinterest where the cards were made to look like shirts and i decided to create a card that looked like a suit. These shirt designs are perfect for masculine cards and can be used for any occasion, not just father's day. 

I selected a few shades of black cardstock to create the different elements of the suit. For some added detail, I cut a triangle out of red cardstock to create the cute pocket square. For the sentiment, I used the 'you're the BEST!' stamp from the Fiskars Petals From Scratch stamp set and ColorBox Frost White pigment ink.  

This card was relatively easy and quick to make and it turned out soo adorable. My dad loved it! I hope you get some inspiration for any masculine cards that you may be wanting to make. Thanks for stopping by my blog again! See you soon! ♥

Simple and Easy Birthday Card!

Hello and welcome to my first card post! This post features a simple and easy birthday card I made for my aunt. 

I used a few different washi tapes I had and created a simple background detail to the white card base. On the tag I created, I wrote out the happy birthday sentiment with a black gel ink pen and used a gold marker to add the dot border around the tag. To add a little interest, I cut out a butterfly from a watercolor paper and added the details using the same gold marker as before.

Recently, I have been obsessed with making more homemade cards. It has become one of my passions.
